Right now there are literally hundreds of chemicals (neurotransmitters and hormones) with familiar names like Testosterone, Cortisol, Serotonin and Oxytocin, racing through each of our bodies and brains, in our bloodstreams and nervous system, largely dictating how we think, feel, speak and behave.
Yet, most of us operate largely at the mercy of those chemicals – experiencing reactions, emotions and thoughts without realising that we can strategically influence them, using specific movements, breathing patterns, thought processes and visualisations.
Physical Intelligence is the ability to detect and actively manage the balance of those chemicals so that we can stress less, achieve more and live and work more happily.
We should all use physiology to enhance performance and increase energy, resilience, and creative flow.
There are techniques to shift your chemistry and state immediately, enhancing your abilities and mood. Some of these techniques work in under 10 seconds and can be done right at your desk!
